About Us
The company "Auto Mirage Limited" came into being in January 2007 after trading as, and being known as "Car Craft of Lytham" since 1982. Re-development of the Dock Road area of Lytham not only forced re-location of the business, but also provided an opportunity to re-focus on more specialised work and projects.
For twenty five years, Car Craft carried out virtually the whole spectrum of automotive related works, including general servicing, mechanical repairs, body repairs and resprays, restorations, modifications and MOT's. Throughout the 1990's they designed, manufactured and very successfully competed in their own kit cars in the shape of the CC Zero and the CC Cyclone.

We continue to carry out routine servicing and accident repairs, but we also like to have one or two "interesting" projects going on at the same time. Kit builds, custom work, track day and competition cars and classics can all be catered for.
We are not only the owners of the business, but also the staff! This means that between the two of us, we do the whole job from estimate through to final valeting (and brewing up). We are on the whole enthusiastic, although some jobs are not so appealing, either due to the particular job itself, or unrealistic budgeting from the owner.
We do have the ambition to constantly improve quality and standards. Of course we're not perfect and sometimes things do go wrong (they do for every other business out there, they just don't admit it!). If this happens, we will always try to resolve any issues. At the end of the day we want happy and contented customers who will come back again in the future.

We are aware that we can't work on exotic motors everyday, so don't be shy if you just have a dent in your Micra (don't be disappointed if it doesn't appear on the website though!).
